Equipment inspection services

Virtually all states and cities have requirements for the periodic inspection of boilers and pressure vessels. Meeting local jurisdictional inspection requirements is important as state or local authorities can fine businesses that don’t comply and can even shut down operations.

Depending on the jurisdiction, one or more of the following equipment may require a certificate:

  • Power boilers and high-pressure, high temperature water boilers
  • Refrigeration systems
  • Pressure vessels
  • Low pressure steam or vapor heating boilers, hot-water heating and hot-water supply boilers

Where other insurers may not include this service, or charge extra for an inspection, Hanover Risk Solutions partners with Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB) to provide jurisdictional inspections of boilers and pressure vessels as a built-in benefit of our equipment breakdown offering. HSB has a national network of inspectors who hold national board certification and are also licensed by local jurisdictions where they work. HSB inspectors work closely with you to help you keep your equipment in compliance with code.
